- Online Application Starting Date: April 17, 2024
- Last date for online application and fee payment (last date extended): 5 May 2024
- Application correction for KTET April 2024 will be available from 06/05/2024 to 09/05/2024.

- Exam Date: 22 June 2024 and 23 June 2024

Here is the Kerala TET exam application fee. Candidates are advised to review the official Kerala TET 2024 notification carefully before making any payment of application fee.
- General Category Candidates: Rs. 500/-
- SC/ST/PWD Candidates: Rs. 250/-
- Payment Mode: Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card
Kerala TET Exam Eligibility Criteria
Paper/Category 1 – Lower Primary Classes (Class 1-5):
- Minimum 45% marks in 12th/10+2 (or equivalent).
- Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- 12th/10+2 (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 years qualifying Diploma in Elementary Education.
- 12th/10+2 (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.Ed.).
Paper/Category II – Upper Primary Classes (Class 6-8):
- Graduate in BA/B.Sc./B.Com. And 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education/Trained Teacher Certificate (TTC).
- 12th/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and qualification in four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.Ed.).
- Graduate in BA/B.Sc./B.Com. With minimum 45% marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
- Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and four year BA/B.Sc.Ed or BA Ed or B.Sc.Ed.
Paper/Category III – High School Classes (Class 9-12):
- Graduate in BA/B.Sc/B.Com. With B.Ed. with at least 45% marks.
- Degree in relevant subject with M.Sc.Ed. degree.
Paper/Category IV – Language Teacher:
Candidates having Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Teaching in any discipline approved by Universities/NCTE/Examination Board/Government of Kerala are eligible. Candidates qualified for the posts of Language Teachers (Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit and Urdu up to upper primary level), Specialist Teachers and Physical Education Teachers can apply for Kerala TET 2021 Paper IV as per Chapter XXXI of the Kerala Education Act and Rules.
