Verification of Eligibility Conditions: Post-Interview Protocol for UPSC CAPF Candidates

  1. Purpose of Document Verification: One of the important steps in UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant selection is to confirm the eligibility conditions through original documents. This verification is done after the candidate clears the interview/personality test stage of the examination.
  2. Submission of Original Certificate: After qualifying the interview/personality test and meeting the prescribed criteria given by UPSC, candidates have to submit their original certificates. These documents generally include educational certificates, age proof, nationality proof and other documents as specified in the UPSC official notification.
  3. Ensuring Eligibility Compliance: The main idea behind this verification process is that those who have finally qualified for the final stage of the examination must be proven to conform to all the eligibility criteria set by the UPSC. Doing so ensures that only qualified candidates proceed during recruitment processes thereby bringing some realism to the selection.
  4. Preparation for Document Verification: Applicants should prepare their original documents and arrange them properly so that they can be easily verified when they are selected for the interview/personality test stage. Any irregularities or problems found during this inspection may result in disqualification or termination of candidature, emphasizing how important it is to maintain eligibility during the examination process.
