Review: Adorable costume! I bought it to dress up as Mary Poppins. It comes with the skirt, jacket, white shirt/collar to wear under the jacket, and hat.The costume does not seem to be the best quality, but it works fine as a costume. It is definitely a great price!My costume arrived with a small defect. I contacted the company and they were a pleasure to work with!The costume may run a bit small. I am a size 2; although it is big on me, I can definitely wear it.

Title: The skirt fits fine but the jacket was so tight I couldn’t move
Review: I had read previous reviews saying that the Large (14-16) came up small – I am usually a 8 in clothing by the way. So thinking that the costume sizing was different decided to go for the XL (16-18).Complete mistake. It absolutely swam on me. The arms were extremely wide, the jacket body was at least 6-8 across too big. Just massive all over. The skirt hung on me even though it had elasticated waist and was on the floor (I am 5’3′ tall).So I have returned the XL and had ordered the Large. The previous reviews were right. The Large is so very small. The skirt fits fine but the jacket was so tight I couldn’t move. Just not wearable. I can’t believe there is nothing in between. They are like night and day.I am returning the Large today. Such a shame because the costume itself is OK. With the right accessories it could be a good costume.But the hat in both cases is awful you would need to get a hat.

Title: The material was a better quality than I thought
Review: The standard runs a little small. I am a size medium (8-10). Motivation to stay on my diet :). However, the next size up was too big (I bought both….Tried to shrink the larger size, but does not shrink when washed and placed in the dryer….but it did get the wrinkles out without ironing!!). The material was a better quality than I thought. I did wear it for Halloween, and it looked great!!!!….I am a stickler for details after looking at pictures of Mary Poppins, I did order another shirt (frilly) and tie (red) as recommended, instead of what came with the costume. I made my own black straw hat with daisies and cherries. Ordered white gloves and a hair clip (to cover my hair bun). Already had black boots. I ordered an orange striped scarf from another website. Topped it off with my mother’s black umbrella and satchel. Even found a foam parrot head to put on the umbrella handle. Perfect for Mary Poppins…Except for sizing issues (lost one star), as noted with previous reviews, I was very happy with the product. Thank you!!

Title: It’s nice but tiny
Review: The suit itself is cute but very tiny- nowhere near a ladies 14. I wear a 10 and will stuff myself in and ace bandage my boobs because I want to be Mary Poppins for Halloween. .I’m a teacher- it makes a good costume choice. The blouse underneath is just a dickey but it should do. The hat is really kind of silly but I have a black straw hat to use with some flowers on it , it will do just fine. It’s a decent price compared to other things out there and with Prime shipping, I’ll keep it.

Title: Lowere quality but you got what you pay for. It is okay costume.
Review: It is really what you pay for and worth the money. Don’t expect luxury for this but it does serve the purpose.You really should follow the size of the jacket because this is a tricky part since the skirt is big and hasan elastic so it will fit anyone really. The jacket though seem bit small for the size.

Title: No true “Large” available
Review: Ok, so I poured over every review trying to figure out if I was the 14-16 “standard” or the 16-18 “plus”. I am a straight size 10 in pants and always wear a medium shirt, sweater or jacket. As a result, I decided to go for the “standard”. Well the skirt fit just fine, it is very full and so it does appear “large”, but no problems at all with the waist (elastic). The jacket however is extremely small (prob would fit my 14 year old daughter perfectly). It’s was so tight I couldn’t button any of it except for the top one (remember I am a MEDIUM in any other shirt, top, etc in all of my other clothes). I then had to order the PLUS costume and it’s too big. I will be using it, but I will need to safety pin it at my waist in the back and roll up the sleeves because the jacket is huge. The skirt is even poofier than the other, but because it’s an elastic waist, it goes on and I’ll make it work since my party is 4 days away. There is no size for this costume that is a true “Large” like if you were a 12 or 14 in other clothes, if that’s what you’re looking for. You have to go really small or really big if you’re in that 10-12 range. It will be cute in the end and the lights are always dim for Halloween, probably won’t see the pins etc. anyway. Title: It’s great for a Mary Poppins costume
Review: I bought this for my teenage daughter who is a size four and it fit perfectly. It might fit a size six but I think it would be too small for a size eight. It’s great for a Mary Poppins costume. You can hot glue flowers to the hat so that it looks more like Mary Poppins’ hat. We are also going to change out the blue tie but haven’t done that yet. It will have to be cut off.

Title: Too small and Ripped
Review: I like the look of the costume but it is too small. I am thin, but there is no way this is a size 14-16 like the tag states. Thank goodness I have a sewing machine because I had to sew the side seems shut as soon as I took it out of the package. It looked like someone tried it on and ripped the sides. The order said new item. I needed the costume for the next day so I had to make due.
