Title: Bought for wedding in desperation… so glad I did.
Review: I am stepmother of Groom and needed a black dress for the wedding. I am short and heavy (5’1″, 265). I usually wear a size 24-26 womens. I have a horrible time finding regular clothes to fit much less a dress for a wedding and didn’t want to spend a lot of money because I probably would never wear it again.I bought this dress as a “back-up” in case I didn’t find anything else… which is exactly what happened. Good thing too, because the dress fit me fine, it stretches a lot, and the shear layers hide a lot. It was very flattering and comfortable (I did wear a spanxs like garment underneath). Thank you to the designer because it saved me a lot of anxiety. My Husband even complimented me which happens rarely.

Review: I am thrilled with this dress. The fabric seems high quality, it is extremely flattering, and since it arrived squished into a plastic envelope and shook right out, it obviously will pack well. (I bought it for a wedding in Germany so it will have to travel!) The sheath is a snugger fit than I normally wear, but the cape drapes so prettily that I feel covered and confident. Length is just below the knee. This will work well not only for the wedding but also for cruise ship wear in the future.
