Title: A lot of cool accessories to this costume!
Review: This costume is quite complete – it comes with the hat, mask, robe, wooden cross, walking stick, gloves, belt, book, and a bird for on your shoulder! –We had to provide the 8-year-old! lolThe mask has some smell, it doesn’t fill the entire room or anything, and we have time to let it air out. And we did have some issues with adjusting the mask so he could see. – we finally took his glasses off and then it was better. We will still have to work through that a little bit.It all fit him very well; he wears a size 8 (and can still wear some 7s), he is slender. It doesn’t seem like it would fit anyone much bigger, might want to size up if in doubt.My grandson was quite happy with this costume and all the accessories – we think it’s great, but we will work with the mask a little to get it more vision friendly.We even had a little talk about how historically they did actually wear masks & robes that looked somewhat like this during the plague. – So, a little history teaser thrown in!

Title: This is freakin’ awesome
Review: Update: Kainen is wearing the costume in the new picture. He’s 7 years old, 57 pounds, 4 feet. The gown part is too big for him but we just hoisted it up with the belt. He loves it!This plague doctor costume is scary! I really appreciate the attention to detail in the accessories. The mask is very well made and high quality faux leather but it is a little stiff. The book is an actual book that has a leather wrap closure with a cross on it and an additional leather cord that you can use to hang it from the belt. The bird appears to have actual feathers, at least I can’t tell them apart from real feathers especially the tail feathers. My item was shipped in a pouch and the bird did get squished a little bit. I think I’m going to stick a safety pin in it to try to pop the plastic mold back out. The hat is, well, a real hat! Really the only accessory that feels costume-y is the cane. It is a hollow plastic cane with a plastic head. But that’s probably a good thing because your kid’s going to want to carry his treat bag and not be burdened with a heavy cane.The gown and hood and belt are all made of the same material, a thin lightweight polyester.Overall, this is a really good costume.

Title: Not that great
Review: This plague Doctor costume was pretty disappointing. The main thing I have a problem with is the hat. It’s a bucket hat that looks like something from the early 2000s. Not something a medieval plague Doctor would wear. It just ruins the whole thing.

Title: Love the idea
Review: So cool to find a plague doctor costume. I love how many accessories it comes with, and the book is an actual journal you can write in. The robe is the same typically cheap gown as most costumes are, but the accessories make it. Having said that, the cane is already broken on ours. My son is 10, and we got the 10/12. It fits perfectly.

Title: Amazing deal for a great costume with lots of accessories!
Review: I mean, if you are one of those odd people looking for a plague doctor costume for a child, you can’t do much better than this one! I got it for my niece and nephew and it’s awesome. The accessories are great, the details are fantastic – and it’s creepy, which is the point! I love being able to find odd, out of the ordinary costumes for kids!

Title: A great costume!
Review: My 11 year old absolutely loves this costume. She could not wait to put it on. She loved all the accessories that came with it. They were higher quality than you’d expect from a costume. Our only complaint was the hat was a little small but it still works. She’s very excited to wear it for Halloween. In the meantime she’s been wearing it around the house and it’s held up very well!

Title: Well worth it
Review: I bought this costume for my 9 year old son and he loves it. We were looking at a plague doctor costume at a local store and it was 2x the cost of this one and I think this one has more items. The quality of the items are what you would suspect for a kids costume but still worth it.
